SPON DIOGO AW12: INCANDESCENT

Spon Diogo, the winner of this year’s Max Factor New Talent Award, was the first show, I attend this season and I was really looking forward to it, especially since the AW11 collection is one of my all-time favorites. The clothes were very couture-like, just like the makeup (which again were by the hands of Max Factor’s Mina Ingerslev – get a how-to-guide right here) and the hair (I’m a sucker for the high pony tail). Spon Diogo definitely has potential for Paris Fashion Week. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great to have them back in Copenhagen but the clothes somehow deserve a higher caliber of models and the whole Paris-Fashion-Week-feel. My favorites are definitely the asymmetrical short black skirts and all the leather-items.
