VERONICA B. VALLENES AW12

Illustrations by Joseph Larkowsky.
A continuation of previous seasons and many of the classic signature Veronica B. Vallenes styles are pretty descriptive of Veronica’s AW12 collection. Clean cuts and asymmetrical lines have become synonymous with the brand – just like the collaboration with jewelery designer Bjørg. A collaboration that’s somewhat expected by now but still a great one since the clothes and jewelry really compliment each other. Last season’s makeup was a hit in my book, it went so well with the clothes and I must admit, that I wish the makeup-artist would have made an updated version of the look this season as well. I’m not really sure how I feel about the frizzy bangs and the heavy makeup. But perhaps that’s just me. What do you think? My favorite pieces are definitely the black leather pant and the little black dress (that’s been so beautifully illustrated above)
I enlisted the help of the very talented fashion illustrator Joseph Larkowsky. Joseph is currently on his first year on Fashion Illustration at London College of Fashion but his work has already been seen in The Times and The Metro: London. Joseph has previously interned at Alexander McQueen in the Spring of 2011 under Creative Director Sarah Burton. Joseph does take commissions and private requests. I myself are dreaming of a photo wall with a mixture of Joseph’s drawings and Thomas’ photos. My two super stars!
